The Chapel of the Bones is located on the south side of the 16th century Parish Church of Our Lady of the Conception. Its interior is practically all covered by more than 1500 human bones. A must see.

It is a village that has a very beautiful medieval castle. It has about 300,000 visitors per year. There is also a large Medieval Fair in August, which you can visit, watch shows, shop and indulge yourself with typical snacks and drinks.
 
A Arab origin castle ruins. This is a national monument since 1971. From the top you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the stream, the bridge and the surrounding areas.
The castle features two square and one octagonal towers. The entrance takes place next to the Santa Maria Church in Tavira.
The museum tells the story of the Portimão sardine factory. It is located in the centenary fish cannery factory.
It's Rococo-style palace with gardens with orange trees and palm trees. The lower terrace displays a pavilion with blue and white tiles. Classified as Public Interest Property in 1977.
